At BNP Paribas Cardif we have a wide variety of jobs and positions. There are around 400 different jobs in France and overseas, from finance to actuarial science, along with CSR, human resources, IT, data science, and more. But did you know that among these jobs there are also Innovation Game Changers, Number Architects or People puzzle solvers?
To showcase the diversity of our jobs and demystify the insurance sector, we have invited our employees to present their jobs in a different and surprising way.
Alpha is one of them! A BNP Paribas Cardif employee for 4 years, he arrived as a temporary worker, and is now manager of the Standards & Approvals team. And all that in just one and a half years! His goal is to pass on all of his expertise to his team, and thus help them develop their skills. But what is his #unexpectedjob?
“I’m often asked questions about my job and what I do on a daily basis. And what if I told you that I’m no longer a Financial middle-office team leader, but in fact a Wealth management’s midfielder?
As a team leader at BNP Paribas Cardif, I supervise the quality and reliability of financial data at an entity specialized in wealth management, with banks outside of the BNP Paribas Group, while developing my team.
In other words, I’m responsible for securing the flow of financial information, from the publication on the market to the application in client contracts, and also managing offerings and financial products in IT systems. This is why Wealth management’s midfielder.”
