  • A joint-venture on maintenance for fleet multi brands in Europe to address partner’s ambition on fleet. To unlock leasing potential, one needs to propose multi brand fleet which implies to be able to service non-captive brands in a cost efficient and seamless way. Icare, a fully owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas Cardif, has acquired more than 20 years of experience on warranty extension and maintenance for multi brand, dealing with multi networks. In France, our main telco partner aimed to improve customer satisfaction to simplify the customer experience and maximize sales potential. We have signed together a major partnership to achieve the objective through sim-based insurance. This offer covers the phones used on the insured mobile line, even when the device is changed. In the event of breakage, oxidation or theft, breakdown or battery failure phones are replaced within 24 hours or repaired within 5 days in case of central repair or 2 hours in case of local repair. This solution guarantees a seamless user experience, makes subscribing easier and gives customers peace of mind, boosting their satisfaction.

In keeping with this desire to make insurance more accessible, and at a time when mobile phones have become an essential part of everyday life, we have developed an automatic claims approval solution using artificial intelligence. Thanks to BNP Paribas Cardif’s expertise and the agility of its broker, Karapass Courtage, mobile device claims can now be automatically accepted within seconds. For example, a customer can file a claim in 2 minutes, obtain an acceptance in a few seconds, and pick up its repaired phone within a day from a local repair shop. By replicating the human decision-making process through artificial intelligence, this innovation ensures a seamless customer journey and a fast, efficient claims management process.

In France, a leading neobank aimed to offer more services to its clients, beyond the solutions to pay and get paid.  The neobank launched home insurance for renters and homeowners through a 100% digital experience, provided by BNP Paribas Cardif and its Insurtech partner. They teamed up to provide the neobank with the tech platform and services required. For instance it would allow users to obtain quotes and purchase home insurance policies in a few minutes, straight from the neobank’s app. The solution combined competitive pricing, user friendly features and an innovative profit-sharing model which directs unused premiums to charities. It seamlessly aligns with the neobank’s goal of providing customer-centric and socially conscious financial services to customers.

In Belgium, brokers operate in an increasingly demanding real estate market, where maintaining differentiation is crucial for competitiveness. To help its distribution network stay ahead of the competition, BNP Paribas Cardif launched a unique product: the ‘Suretyship’, designed for brokers as complementary to a CPI Mortgage. This warranty service product helps in the process of the purchase of a property, guaranteeing the financial penalty to the seller in case purchase is cancelled by the buyer. Buyers do not have to lock up to 10% of the property’s value preserving their liquidity, while sellers gain financial protection.

After proven success in the Netherlands, the Suretyship was introduced in Belgium as well, where BNP Paribas Cardif is the only provider offering this type of product in Belgium. The Suretyship is complementary to CPI Mortgage, providing even more financial security and peace of mind when purchasing property for customers.
